Who’s Tiff?
Hello travel friends! My name is Tiffany & I'm the owner and founder of Travels of Tiff!
I started traveling after high school, when I took a 5 week trip to Eastern Europe to visit family! That trip sparked my passion for travel, & I've been fueling it ever since! I’m a busy woman, on a very tight budget, with a very real love of travel. I am always working to balance my education, my family, & my constant need for adventure.
​Medical school currently takes up the majority of my schedule, but I still carve out time for pick-up basketball games and volleyball with friends. Hiking is a love of mine, especially in national parks - long day hikes are my favorite. I’ve had people asking me questions for years about how I am able to travel so much with so little time while also on a budget, so I decided to make this travel website/ blog and lay it all out here! Hi, I'm Emily, the chief editor for this travel website!
I’ve been traveling since I was young, and as the daughter of a single mother (like Tiff) I always learned to do so on a shoestring budget! Tiff & I met in medical school, & in between studying, she taught me even more ways to travel that are light on money without compromising the sense of wonder. Our first travel adventure together was a month trekking through Europe and Scandinavia, exporting cities, & getting lost in Norwegian goat pastures. Since then, we have explored many places on weekends together and can't wait for our next big adventure!
Like Tiff, I also love being outdoors. Exploring new food and finding nerdy historical places are other passions of mine. Tiff has put up with many of my long galivants through museums
(“Just one more exhibit pleeeeease!” ).
